THANK YOU FOR COMING
We had an absolute blast at this writeathon, and we hope you join us for the next (coming in the winter!). Meanwhile, get recordings and merch to commemorate this amazing weekend.
a writing event you never want to miss
Have you felt isolated in your room as you're clacking away at your story, struggling through a plot hole or a particular metaphor? Let's be honest, writing can be a quiet, lonely passion if you don't find a hub for people who are just like you. Lucky for you, TYWI is presenting our second bi-annual Write-a-thon, an event unlike anything we've ever done.

writeathon contest: burning summer
WINNERS
what is more powerful than burning? in these heats, it's easy to take this theme the literal way, but we want engaging stories and striking poems that bring a metaphorical twist to this theme. what does it mean to be burning? is it vengence? is it love? is it guilt? this could be anything, but what we are looking for most is an undeniable passion that lights up your piece and makes it stand out beyond the rest. drama, power, passion, something that will set our world aflame.
