As a 59-year-old Social Studies teacher within the Seneca Valley School District of Western Pennsylvania—where I teach AP World History and United States History to high school students—I have carried a passion for story-telling and writing all of my life and have ambitions of beginning a new career as a novelist. I published my first novel, The Soles of Cyrus Eblis on February 5, 2019 with St Polycarp Publishing Company and recently the novel has been transferred for publishing under the CrossLink Publishing label. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in communication from St. Bonaventure University, where I studied journalism, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I am married with one son and have a loyal Golden Retriever named Thor.
I hope to utilize my skills, knowledge, and experience in the area of writing and publishing a novel to assist the growth and promote the enthusiasm behind my mentee's desire to write.
