Mentor: Annelyse Gelman
Annelyse Gelman’s work has appeared in BOMB Magazine, the PEN Poetry Series, The New Yorker, and elsewhere, and she is the author of the poetry collection Everyone I Love Is a Stranger to Someone (2014, Write Bloody) and the experimental pop EP About Repulsion (2019, Fonograf Editions). She also directs Midst, an experimental platform for archiving and sharing the writing process.
I'm open to working with all sorts of young poets; send me the work you're most excited about and let me know what your goals are, and I'll be as helpful as I can! I'm happy to talk about your writing in-depth, to recommend further reading, and to talk about publishing, fellowships, grad school, touring and performing, etc.
